San Carlos, located in the Northern region of Costa Rica, is one of the country’s most mesmerizing destinations. It’s home to lush landscapes, beaches, rainforests and unique tourist attractions such as Venecia, an artificial lake and recreation area. Venecia is quite the spectacle and a popular tourist spot in San Carlos.

Situated just a few kilometres to the east of San Carlos, Venecia is a 500-acre artificial lake that is surrounded by stunning nature. It’s a great spot to go fishing, swimming and sunbathing. The lake has been stocked with Tilapia fish, which makes it an attractive place for the avid angler. Away from the water’s edge, the natural surrounding can be explored on horseback or by foot. You can also take a 4×4 tour around the lake for a more comprehensive experience.

One of the main draws to Venecia is its stunning views. From its shoreline, one can take in a sweeping panoramic landscape of rolling hills, meadows, rainforest and rivers. On a clear day, you can also spot the Arenal Volcano in the distance. Venecia is an ideal place for photographers, offering a variety of backdrops and perspectives for capturing stunning shots.

In addition to the natural beauty of this place, Venecia is also home to unique attractions. One of the highlights here is a floating bar, which offers food, drinks and local music. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the views of the lake. There are also several restaurants and cafeterias scattered around the venue.

At Venecia, visitors can also explore a variety of water sports. From kayaking and pedal boating to ATV rides and fishing boats, there is something to suit all preferences. Visitors can also go parasailing, which is a great way to take in the scenery from a bird’s eye view.

The area surrounding Venecia is also full of interesting attractions. This lake is actually part of a larger recreational area called the San Carlos Ecological Park. It comprises various amenities such as picnic tables, basketball courts and children’s playgrounds. There is also a manmade beach, which serves as the ideal spot to unwind and catch some rays.

Venecia is a truly wonderful destination, ideal for tourists looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and explore some of Costa Rica’s beautiful nature. With a variety of water sports, tourist amenities and natural attractions, Venecia is sure to keep visitors entertained and enchanted.

Ivan Madrigal #exitosoivan #ticomagnate ..is a costarican, meaning that I live in Costa Rica. Graduated as an industrial engineer and later worked for my father businesses before having the great opportunity to have a small internship in England, at the company Vinten Broadcast that manufactures equipment for the broadcasting industry. After that I decided to learn another language and tried French. However the unstable labor market here forced me to try other career paths like sales and marketing, which I now self-study or implement. Also developed more experience in Customer Service at several Call centers like at IBM Business Transformation, working as Payroll manager for a company that downsized me, named Dana Corporation... later at Fujitsu, where its big account BellSouth, moved to other country.. and finally Hewlett Packard within their biggest account: Pfizer. Because I didn't want to miss my experience at UK dealing with broadcasting, I studied this career at INA which graduates high level technicians for Central America. Nevertheless, I am trying to make multinational companies recognize my degrees, and get in a position were I can be more productive and creative. But the truth, the best way to show my potential is by owning my business and create presence by networking with people. That´s why I am here, because I need to move on, leave my country for many years, and challenge my skills using new languages that I can learn gradually. There seems to be many obstacles for me to achieve this, but I will deal with this using time management and other tools. I wonder, when will be the time when I recover completly from my motorcycle accident and win the trial, before walking normally with a cane and finally dance... dance with the wolves. The wolves that are in MySpace and Facebook, for example, where I am profiled.
